Whitni Toson, M.A., LPC-S
Practice Owner | Areas of Focus: Teens/Mothers/Adults/Anxiety/Depression
Whitni is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over ten years of experience working in the mental health field. Whitni is a North Carolina native who knew at an early age that she wanted to make a difference in the world. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University in Greensboro, North Carolina.
From there, Whitni pursued her Master’s degree in Counseling from the University of Texas at San Antonio. While in the Master’s program, Whitni gained experience as a Student Counselor working in a women’s shelter, a residential substance abuse treatment facility, and a long-term care facility.
Susan Wondra, M.A., LPC

Susan joins Alamo Ranch Counseling and Wellness in the fall of 2020 as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) specializing in her work with adolescents and adults. Susan completed her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Texas State University and graduated with a 4.0 and her Master’s degree in Counseling from the University of Texas at San Antonio. Jackie Hodges, M.A., LPC
Jackie Hodges is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas. She grew up in Corpus Christi and moved to San Antonio, where she proudly calls home. She enjoys nature walks, being by the water, and watching movies with her family.
She has been working in the counseling profession since 2008 and is passionate about helping people find the strength to empower themselves while facing difficult times. She has worked with people experiencing depression, anxiety, grief and loss, and mood disorders, such as bipolar disorder. Jackie has experience working with teens, members of the LGBTQ+ community, pregnancy loss and infertility, and the BIPOC community.
Larami Serrano is a Mental Health Counseling graduate student at Lamar University. A mother of three sons, Larami is passionate about supporting and empowering mothers throughout their journey as well as destigmatizing mental health care for mothers.
She is currently facilitating two motherhood support groups through Alamo Ranch Counseling and Wellness. She’s also providing therapy to individuals and couples under the direct supervision of Whitni Toson, MA, LPC-S. As a student counselor, Larami can see clients at an affordable, low-cost rate.
Prior to pursuing a career in counseling, Larami was a portrait photographer and a junior high school teacher. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, traveling, and interior design.
